Dear all,
after few years since the latest update, we are very pleased to announce that we have released a new version, much more stable and improved, of the BOPS toolbox.
We would like to welcome and thank the Human Movement Biomechanics Laboratory (HMBL), University of Ottawa, Canada, in particular our new project members:
- Danilo Catelli
- Bruno Bedo
- William Cruaud
- Mario Lamontagne
whose passion, work and initiative have made this release possible. They indeed have been using BOPS for all these years for their research, continuously improving it, and they did not hesitate to contact us to propose the result of their new developments and bug fixing activity.
Release 2.0 contains the following major enhancements:
- Update of the GUI layout
- Implementation of Joint Reaction Analysis (JRA)
- Addition of new templates files for IK, ID, SO and JRA
- Bugs fixing
We hope that this new version can address and solve many of the topics and questions previously posted on this forum.
Therefore, if you are using the old version of BOPS, please update to the latest version available at the SimTK project page.
We kindly invite all users to use this new release first, and only after to re-post their questions on the forum again, in the unlikely case the same problems/doubts will occur, or if new issues will arise.
Hope all of you will appreciate the work done and can benefit from such improvement!
