muscle parameters differ between publication and model

This is a musculoskeletal model of the index finger, which includes intrinsic muscles and a plugin to estimate muscle activations using static optimisation and experimentally collected EMG. The aim of the model and solution method is to improve estimates of muscle co-contraction.

muscle parameters differ between publication and model

I observed that the parameters optimal_fiber_length and tendon_slack_length in the supplied model differ from the values in the publications. I cannot find an explanation in the publications for this difference why I assume the two described parameters are wrong in the model and need to be adjusted.
