TrackingController PID Parameter Optimization

Post by Eric Hu » Mon Jan 13, 2025 11:37 am

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek,

I was wondering if the PID parameters of the tracking controller could be optimized? If so, how should I go about organizing my controller to do so? I tried placing the optimizable parameters into the array and it didn't accept the parameters since the quotation marks are not values. I would like to optimize these gain parameters along with the muscle activations because I am not sure how to algebraically solve for these parameters with the model I currently have.

Thank you so much,

Eric

It appears you cannot optimize the PID parameters for the TrackingController. You can try and contact the author of the TrackingController (Alex Zhou) for more information.

Hi Dr. Geijtenbeek,

Would you happen to know Alex's contact information? I do not see it on the SCONE website.

Thank you,
Eric
