SCONE shuts down when I try to run a scenario

SCONE is a software tool for predictive simulations of biomechanical movement. It uses OpenSim for modeling and simulation, and performs optimization using various control strategies, including feed-forward control, proprioceptic feedback control, and bal

SCONE shuts down when I try to run a scenario

Post by Aoife Ryan » Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:58 am

Hi Thomas,

I am trying to load a cycling model into SCONE (using a nonsense gaitmeasure at the minute, as I'm just playing around with it until I have found a way to measure the cycling ability of the model), however, if I try to optimise the scenario, I can leave it for hours without anything being optimised and if I attempt to run the scenario SCONE immediately shuts down.
Notes came up in the messaging window about unsupported actuators, so I removed those but unfortunately it did not seem to fix the problem.
Have you any suggestions as to how I might deal with this?

Thanks,
Aoife

Hi Aoife,

Thank you for taking the time to report this!

Could you send me the model you're using (and also the .scone file)? This way, I can figure out what's happening and fix the problem. You can send it to me either via e-mail, or via the SCONE Github Page.

Thanks,
Thomas
