Setting Up Mimic Measure

Is there an example I can follow to set up Mimic Measure? I set up an excel spreadsheet with my data, but I don't know how to get it into SCONE. Thanks for the help.

Please see the documentation, and make sure the data is in the .sto format:

I set it up like the example, but SCONE is still not recognizing it. Did I set it up incorrectly?

The channels in the .sto file need to match the model coordinates. You can export a .sto file from SCONE with only state data checked to see an example of what that would like.

Are these the coordinates you are referencing? Is MimicMeasure not able to track center of mass position data? Thank you for your help.

Yes. You can create a .sto file from SCONE with only state data checked to see an example.

Is it possible to export coordinate data over a period of time with appropriate time stamps?

You can currently only export a single frame of coordinate data, or export a whole motion as an .sto.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry to jump in here, and thank you for the great software.

I'm hoping to use SCONE to optimize muscle activation to track a reference motion(stored as a .sto motion file that can be loaded in OpenSim as a motion) over a period of time as closely as possible subject to muscle parameter/ligament constraints. Is this achievable with MimicMeasure? I have tried using OpenSim Moco but was having convergence issues. Thank you.

Best,
Ziang

Direct collocation (Moco) is definitely better suited for motion tracking than shooting methods (SCONE), so you are unlikely to get better results with the MimicMeasure.
