Error loading model with contact elements

Hello,
I am trying to add the ContactPointOnPlane elements to the foot of the gait2392 model but I keep getting this error message when trying to load the model into OpenSim.
The only change that I made to the original osim file was to add the code from the example file (see below) to the forces section and change some of the parameters
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It seems like a file version issue or something, not a problem with the contact element itself since the example file works fine. I also attached my edited osim file.
Update: I posted a similar question on the main OpenSim forum and received a reply that explained the problem, but I am not familiar enough with plug-in development to be able to fix it on my own.
Please let me know if how to resolve this issue!
