Closed-Loop Simulation and OpenSim 4.X compatibility

Hi Maryam and SimTK admin,
I would like to run this simulation on OpenSim 4.3 or above.
Since the 4.X version allows a native Matlab - OpenSim interface thanks to the new API, I would like to know if the job done with the Stanev - Mokka tricks ( Use of MEX interfaces and modification of Matlab core functions ) can be run straight forward with the new major update of OpenSim. ( In 2016 or so, the simulation may have been implemented on OpenSim 3.X )
