Walking Simulation with only static file

Hi,
I am having static files ( trc files) with which I have scaled my model. I need to use this model to simulate walking. I dont have any grfs, Is it possible to do this simulation in MOCO with trc files only? If yes, how can I?

Kindly let me know.

Thanks
Mritula

Hi Mritula,

You could try tracking marker data in a problem using a model with foot-ground contact to predict GRFs. We've started to work on this problem internally to update exampleMocoTrack, but haven't gotten it to work well yet. You might be better off tracking coordinates computed from in MocoTrack; we've had more success with this problem formulation.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your response, that adds hope! Would you mind elaborating me on the statement "You might be better off tracking coordinates computed from in MocoTrack; we've had more success with this problem formulation.". Thank you!

Hi Mritula,

Apologies, that sentence should have been "You might be better off tracking coordinates computed from InverseKinematics in MocoTrack...".

Hope that's clear.
