Licensing

Post by Florent SEGURO » Tue Mar 17, 2015 2:36 pm

Hello,

We are trying to use SimVascular for its image segmentation features. Upon opening this software, we get several error messages that "No MeshSim License Key for (...) in registry. MeshSim Functionality isn't available". When we try to open a DICOM directory with images, we get an error that the directory does not contain any images.

What is the best way to obtain a trial license to use this software to glean if it will be useful for our purposes?

Florent

MeshSim licenses is something completely unrelated to the issue you're having.
Right now, DICOM support in SimVascular is limited, we are working on improving this. In the meantime, many users use another software to convert DICOM files to another format such as mha, or vti. Many users use paraview, osiriX or itk snap to convert the DICOM files.
