Meshing with TetGen

Post by Marko Nika » Mon Feb 15, 2016 6:00 am

Hi guys,

I am meshing some geometries which are pretty much cylindrical. However, when I run the mesher, at the end I don't get the wall.

I get the complete volume mesh, the inlet and outlet. But NO wall or wall-combined.

I am working on the windows platform and I don't get what the problem is.

Why it does not generate the wall meshed?

I need this to apply the boundary conditions on the wall i.e., no slip boundary conditions.

I am looking forward fro some help.

Marko

I can't actually believe it.
I should be writing: mesh-complete for the file directory instead of
Mesh-Complete.

Hi Marko,

It won't output a mesh face if it is named with "noname" as part of the name of the face. To output all faces, name them prior to meshing.

Thanks!
