Simvascular 2017&2018

Dear developer:

Because the Windows version of Simvascular installation package that fixes the bug has not been uploaded, I would like to use Simvascular 2017 first. I uninstalled Simvascular 2018 and reinstalled 2017s, but the software can not be opened, there are a lot of random code, and it says many files are missing.

What should I do?

Hello Dai,

What version of SimVascular did you install? Was it SimVascular-2017-08-21?

Make sure that all the SimVascular files from the 2018 version have been removed, I've heard that this can cause problems when re-installing on Windows.

Could you please post the error messages you are getting?

Dear Dave,

I tried it again.
I uninstalled Simvascular and deleted the installation folder ( I'm used to installing software on disk E). Then I restarted the computer and installed Simvascular 2017.
This time, there was no sign of code disorder and 'file loss' when opening the software. It looked all right. However, before the interface appeared, it said 'Simvascular-bin' stopped working. I tried to debug the software. It seemed that many . DLL files could not be opened.

I really want to know how to fix it.
By the way, could you tell me when I can download the updated version? I hope I can finish my graduation thesis with Simvascular. If it's too late, I'd better consider using other software as soon as possible.

We will be releasing a new version of SimVascualar this Friday. I believe the new release will fix the installation problems you are having.
