Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to use a custom analytical shape for the inlet velocity profile?
I want to apply patient specific velocity profiles, obtained with 4D-MRI, to the inlet of my geometry.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Custom analytical shape inlet velocity profile
Hi Dylan,
You can use the bct.dat file to apply a patient specific velocity profile to an inlet. See http://simvascular.github.io/docsFlowSo ... ml#bctfile.
The SV Simulation module will create a bct.dat and bct.vtp files when you select Create Data Files for Simulation. After doing that you replace the bct.dat file with a file containing the patient specific velocity profile.
Cheers,
Dave
