0% SV simulation

Post by Nolan Xanh » Sun Mar 10, 2019 12:52 pm

Hello,

I am having trouble running a simulation on not only my model, but also the DemoProject on the website.

For my model, I am able to create the data files for simulation, but when I hit run simulation (which I am running with 1 process) it just sits at 0% for hours. I have tried simplifying the model and mesh, and still no success. To try and determine if this was due to my model, I went ahead and downloaded the DemoProject from the website and tried to run the simulation. Once again, it just sits at 0% for hours. I looked at the simulation folders for both projects and it does not generate the folder with the number of processes (X-procs_case).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Nolan

Hi Nolan,

There are some known problems with running simulations from the GUI. Before I can help you I need to know what version of SimVascular you are running and on which OS.

Have a look at these links, they may apply to the problems you are experiencing

Hello Dave,

I have the most recent version of Simvascular (19.01.27) and I am running it on my laptop which is Windows 10.

Best regards,
Nolan

Hi Nolan,

And what version of svSolver is installed? Do you have MPI installed?

Cheers,
Dave
