Hi
I can add the outline, but I can't get the model. Is there something wrong with me? The picture should be Picture 1, but it didn't come out.

Hi Qiying,

Your image data appears to be very coarse. What image data are you using?

Under SV Data Manager, right-click on Images->aorta and select Details. Please post here the contents of the pop-up window.

Cheers,
Dave

HI
That's it. The example I used seems to be downloaded from this website.

Hi Qiying,

So the image data is from the Demo Project I guess.

Now I understand what is going on, your path control point markers (blue squares) are too large. Right click on Paths->aorta, select Point 3D Size and make the size smaller. This is discussed in the SimVascular Modeling Guide (http://simvascular.github.io/docsModelGuide.html).

Cheers,
Dave

Hello
After adding the outline, clicking on Lofting preview does not appear as shown in Figure 1 below.

Error creating model
When Click the button "Create Model..."
Choose and use "aorta" and "right_iliac" in the dialog
Number of Sampling Points: 40 (optional for PolyData)
Click the button "OK"

I have CT data. It's okay to open it with Open File, but it can't be added to the image. I save it as VTI and it becomes very blurred. So what should I do?

Hello,could you send me SimVascular-ubuntu-x64-2019.03.17.deb in 155929817@qq.com mailbox ?
I download too slowly here, and half of the download will stop or download will not need to re-download,For these reasons,I can't download it.
I would appreciate it if you could help me.
OpenCASCADE is used to creat model, which is incomplete and wrong. What should I do ?
Creating mesh only supports polydate, but I creat model error.
And I can't post every time. I need to do it many times. It takes more than half an hour to basically post once. That's why, after clicking Send, it will jump to enter the account password. After clicking login, it will return to the post input. So Xun has been doing all the time.
Thank you !

Hi Qiying,

The contours you create during the segmentation process must generate a well-defined surface, i.e. a surface that is smooth, does not self-intersect and has only two boundaries (holes). The Lofting Preview option in the Segmentation tool allows you to see the surface created by each contour.

The aorta surface you show below is not well-defined because you have contours near the aorta-iliac junction that overlap. Adjacent contours should not have large variations in angle, they should be as parallel as possible.

Have a look at http://simvascular.github.io/docsModelGuide.html and try to duplicate how the surfaces are created.

Cheers,
Dave
