Hi Sajeda,
What OS are you using? svFSI currently only installs on Ubuntu, unless you built your own version.
You need to set the location of the svFSI solver in SV. You can do this by selecting the Preferences menu item from the SV tool bar under the Window menu. Then select the svFSI Simulation option.

Yes, I use windows 10. I see that in the preference panel there is need a svFSI solver file. In this case I donot know which file should I use. Is the file (svFSI-linux-x64-2018.07.03.deb) or else? Please let me know and is it possible to simulate blood flow using svFSI under window os.

Hi Sajeda,
The svFSI solver does not currently run on Windows.
However, you can run it on Windows in an Ubuntu Windows app (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/ubunt ... verviewtab). This gives you an Ubuntu terminal where you can execute the svFSI solver from the command line.
I can explain how to do that if you would like.

I hope you all are fine and Happy New Year 2020...
I have problem about the deformable wall blood flow simulation. In this case, at first I have completed my simulation in rigid wall.Then I copy the restart.500.0 file in my simulation directory. I try to change the file name from restart.500.0 to restart.0.1. But the file format is changed. I have attached the images for your kind information.
Please let know what should I do for the get rid from the problem.

Hi Sajeda,
Windows uses a file's extension to determines its type and which application to use to open it. For example, the .docx file extension tells Windows that the file is a Word document. You can ignore this warning when renaming the restart file and select Yes to change it.

Hello Everyone,
I want to know about arrows of velocity pattern.
In paraview, when I visualized the orientation of the arrows in the velocity parameter, the arrows actually not oriented from inlet to outlet. I saw that the orientation of the arrows in inlet and outlet are similar i.e. arrow exiting from the model.
Would you please let me know why the orientation is not accurate.

Hi Sajeda,
If the velocities don't look correct then that implies that the inflow velocities are not correct.You didn't mention which solver you are using so I'll assume you are using svSolver.
Your velocity inlet BC's should look something like
0.0 -100
1.0 -100
notice that the flow values are negative which means the flow is into the inlet.

Yes you are right, I am using svSolver.
I am using negative inlet profile and positive pressure outlet profile (Please see attach the images). I checked 3D Glyphs in paraview which totally unexpected (please see attach inlet and outlet Glyphs images).
Would you please let me know what is my problems...
