.vtp converter?

Post by Jack Tattersall » Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:26 am

Hi everyoe,
Does anyone know of a .vtp file converter. I have reached the point that I have the model in SimVascular, however I now want to export the model to be able to use it in other software (SolidWorks, Ansys ICEM) and they do not take .vtp files but only other formats.
Has anyone else also needed to export the model to be able to use it outside SimVascular? And how so?

Cheers,
Jack

Hi Jack,

You can export the SV model to STL format from SV by right clicking on the model name and selecting the Export Solid Model menu item. A file browser will then pop up. You can then save the model in STL format by giving a file name with a .stl extension.

Cheers,
Dave
