Steady state FSI?

Post by Hadi Wiputra » Thu Jan 20, 2022 12:52 pm

Hi All,

I have a scanned un-stressed aorta geometry and wanted to pre-stress the geometry in svFSI. I intent to run a steady state simulation as for pre-stressing. I know that there is a steady flow solver in simvascular, is there an equivalent for the solid side of things? Or do I need to just run the svFSI until the geometry did not deform significantly? Would it be possible to request for a sample .inp file for steady state FSI simulations?

Thank you.

Regards,
Hadi

Hello Hadi,

There is some discussion about prestress here https://github.com/SimVascular/svFSI/bl ... master.inp (search for Prestress for lElas/struct:). There is an example solver input file here https://github.com/SimVascular/svFSI-Te ... -prestress.

Cheers,
Dave
