Hi All,
What is the difference betweent the two files : inflow.3d and inflow.1d available from some
of the repository cases ?
Any clarification is very welcome. Thanks.

Hi Alex,

inflow.3d is the flowrate imposed at the inlet of the 3D model, whereas inflow.1d is what we used in 1D reduced order models of the same geometry (these models are currently not included in the VMR). The files should be exactly the same except for the sign of the flow rate due to the different convention that SimVascular uses to handle the normal vector in 3D and 1D models

Hope this helps,
Luca
