Blending the junction of two vessels

Post by simon Molina » Fri Jun 07, 2024 7:56 am

Hello,
I have a model of the abdominal aorta and I want to blend the junction of two walls at the iliac bifurcation.
However, when proceeding to the blending, it also applies on the cap that are not cut straight anymore.
I can't figure out how to avoid that...
Also, I have 4 walls overall and when trying to blend only two walls, it applied to the other junctions as well.

I'm using the latest SimVascular version and solver version on Windows.

Best regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,

So the model that you want to blend is read in and not created from an SV Segmentations Tool?

You read in the model and then faces are created for it? I think you will need to delete the cap faces at the iliac bifurcations. And also be sure to identify wall and cap faces.

Cheers,
Dave
