Hello!
I am having dataset for coronary CT scan images (in the form of DICOM images) and I am trying to upload them in SimVascular, so that I can further construct a 3D model out of it. The spatial resolution is high and thus are almost 3000 images in one dataset. When I am trying to upload all the images, it is not getting uploaded and gives an error message: 1659.46 ERROR: Adding image data has failed.
But when I copy a few images (<300) in an another folder and try to upload them, it works fine!
Can anyone please help me with this? What can be the probable reason for this?

I don't believe that there is any limit to the number of DICOM images you can upload into SV.
A CT study with 3000 files is a bit unusual. Are you sure this is a single imaging study? If there are multiple imaging studies in a single directory then I think this could cause a problem.

I am not very clear with the term, "multiple imaging studies". Can you please elaborate a bit on this part? Are you trying to ask, in context of images taken at diastole or systole time point?
Further, can't the number of images be related to the spatial resolution?

In interpretation when refereing to 'multiple imaging studies' means different scans or series that are captured at different times or under different conditions, such as different phases of a heart cycle (diastole/systole) or different imaging protocols. For example, one CT scan might capture images for the chest, while another series could capture a different region of the body or use a different technique (like contrast-enhanced vs. non-contrast).
Regarding the number of images, you re right-spatial resolution does play a role. Higher resolution means more images to cover the same volume. However, 3000 images still sounds quite high for a single study, so it might be worth verifying if multiple studies have been grouped in the same directory by mistake.
You may have a look at this part of the code, if you are familiar with. I am not sure if there is any restriction on the amount of DICOM data you can import on you SV Project.
