Thanks for the wonderful software.

I know we can import a stent into Simvascular with the file type of. stl. But should I import the stent as the segment or the model? And how can I move the stent into the vascularin Simvascular?

Further, if the file type of.stl is ok, how about the type of .obj? And what's the difference?

Building a CFD mesh incorporating a stent is a bit involved.

The best way yo do this is to use a solid modeler to build a solid model of the vascular geometry and the stent, and then perform a Boolean subtraction of the stent from the vascular geometry.

Another way would be to use VTK Boolean operations. This would require writing a program to position the stent, might be complicated.
