velocity vector direction in paraview

Dear SV Team
as it can be seen from the attached file , there are problems in terms of the direction of the velocity vector .velocity vector cross the wall and direction particularly in inlet is wrong and there is opposite velocity vector in some other portions.
my geometry is constructed in Solidworks and exported in SV.my inlet flow is correct in terms of being negative.
i suspect that there may be a problem with my geometry.
the red part is related to inlet
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
masih

Hi Masih,

It's not clear from the picture which face is the inlet and how the velocity vectors are scaled. Velocities should be zero at wall boundaries.

It might be that the model faces are not correctly identified as caps (inlet and outlet faces) and walls. You must identify them in the SV Modeling tool.

If you can upload your project somewhere I can download I'll take a look.

Cheers,
Dave

Hi David, actually I was using wrong procedure in ParaView to get the velocity field vector. the simulation was performed correctly.
I attach the picture corresponding to the velocity vectors by using the correct procedure in paraview.
thanks for your reply
