Parasolid

Hi Dave
I am going to use parasolid Software in Simvascular. Apparently parasolid Software is in softwares like SOLIDWORKS. So I have installed SOLIDWORKS But I couldn't find parasolid in simvascular. If I should install parasolid individually please inform me parasolid Software address(website)?

Hi Jamal,

Due to licensing issues Parasolid is only available to our lab members.

I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Once I watched simvascular tutorial 5:model building, the instructor says that parasolid license could be purchased by user. I would be grateful if you could show me this way.

Hi Jamal,

Siemens is very strict about how users outside of our Lab use the Parasolid functionality supported be SV.

If you can get a license for the Parasolid libraries from Siemens (separately from SolidWorks) then I suppose I could send you an installer for the SV Parasolid plugin, will need to check that I can do that. The plugin currently only works on Ubuntu and MacOS.
