I am interested in using SimVasuclar for my final year research project and I would like to know if anyone knows if the software can model a beating heart and/or the opening/closing of the heart valves.
If it is possible to do the above, could anyone recommend a good place to research more about how to accomplish this?

Hello,

Creating simulations of a beating heart including valves is a PhD research project. The SimVascular svFSI solver can do most of what you want except the heart valves, I think this functionality is not yet implemented.
