Simulated outlet pressures increase with every cardiac cycle

Post by Joanne Sarsam » Tue Jan 23, 2024 2:22 pm

Hello,

I am running an svFSI simulation, with rigid wall conditions and RCR BCs, as the first step in a prestress- fluid structure interaction workflow.

I ran my simulation for 5000 time steps (5 cardiac cycles). When I plot the velocities outputted from the simulation, i get reasonable results:

However, in plotting the outlet or inlet pressures, I find that with each cycle the pressures are increasing. I'm not sure what could be causing this:

Here is a link to the model, mesh, histor.dat file, inp file, and input flow file. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... drive_link

Thanks!
Joanne

hello sir

the graph you plot is inlet velocity or a inlet flow on the face side
