"CTGR file modified after being imported into SV"

Hi,

I'm importing a CTGR file into SimVascular, and it's altering the coordinates of the first two point IDs (0 and 1) for each control point. This alteration renders the subsequent steps impossible. I've attempted to replace the new coordinates with the original, correct ones in the CTGR file within the SV project, but SimVascular doesn't seem to recognize them. Any ideas?

Hello,

I looked at the two segmentations in SV and they appear to be geometrically identical.

I seem to recall that the first two control points are not in fact used as control points, I think they are the contour center and a point on the contour, that are used to transform (e.g. scale) the contour.

Cheers,
Dave

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

It's indeed accurate that when we import both segmentations into SimVascular, we observe that the geometry aligns, with the first segmentation resembling the second after import. This alignment is expected since the second segmentation is essentially the first ctgr file modified by SimVascular.

However, the issue can be seen when we reslice beyond 690 (which ideally shouldn't occur). As depicted below, you'll notice that two points from each contour are positioned in illogical locations, and I don't know how to explain it.

Hello,

You will need to upload your .pth file so I can reproduce what you are seeing.

Cheers,
Dave

Hello, here is the pth. file so you can have a look.
Best regards.

The path points match the segments fine.

What image data are you using? Maybe the image data is not scaled correctly.

What exactly are you trying to do here?

Cheers,
Dave

Hi,

I have found the solution to the issue: simply export all ctgr into legacy segmentation on SimVascular, then reimport them to eradicate artifacts on the contours, ff anyone wishes to import ctgr created from RTSS.
