Problems Merging Two Vessels Together

Post by Arvin Soepriatna » Wed Apr 22, 2015 9:04 am

Hi,

I am trying to merge together two perpendicular vessels to model the right renal artery that branches out from the abdominal aorta, and I am having difficulty merging the two vessels together. When I tried to model the two vessels together, SimVascular continued to cap off the right renal artery inside the abdominal aorta and detect it as a new face. I made sure that the first contour is completely encapsulated inside the main vessel and that the paths of the two vessels overlap. It would be great if someone can help me figure out why these two vessels are not being merged together. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Arvin Soepriatna

Hi Arvin,

Do you mind attaching the groups if possible, so that I can give it a shot and check it out?

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

I tried uploading the file to the forum, but it is giving me this error:
Could not upload attachment to ./files/56437_5f28efcee6d181b375fb60c038cb9f74.
Do you know why?

Arvin

Hi Arvin,

I confirm that this is a bug that has been fixed since the posting of the SimVascular binary on March 20th. New postings of the software will fix this issue. You can use the updated version I sent you. If you have any other issues, let me know.

Thanks!
