Where is the adapted solution?

I am using latest version of SimVascular. I can create an adapted mesh and get “*.msh *.vtu *.vtp” files in meshes file folder. However, there is no adapted solution named as “adapted-restart.[step number].1” which can be used as IC file. Where is the adapted solution?
Otherwise, how to prescribe global min/max edge size?

Hello,

Is the adaptor crashing? Do you get an error message? Can you post the log of your adaption?

The most likely cause is that something is going wrong in the projection phase for the solution, and that you are getting an adapted mesh but not the resulting solution files (which would be co-located with the adapted mesh and fairly obvious).

Thank you for your response, Nathan!
The adaptor did not collapse, and there is no error message. Log and result of mesh are attached.

Then I changed global min edge size from 0.5 to 0.2. It yielded the adaptive mesh but no adapted solution either.

Hi Yun Shi,

I just tested with a simple mesh/solution, and I also don't receive an adapted solution. This is a bug, thank you for bringing to our attention. We will have it fixed for the next release. For now, you can use the adapted mesh to rerun your simulation from the beginning.

Thanks!
