ERROR CREATING MODEL

Post by Veronica Bejarsky » Mon Nov 19, 2018 12:36 pm

Hi, I am learning to simulate coronary arteries in Sim Vascular, I wanted to ask you about why "error creating model" occurs. I detail them:

I open the folder "CoronaryProject" given as an example, when I want to create the model, I select the segmentation of the aorta and the 9 coronaries, and the legend "error creating model" appears. I try to reproduce the same model "normal1_sv3" but I cannot.
I am omitting to select something? could you help me to solve it?

Try selecting the number of samples in the same window that selected the segmentations, with 50 and 100 error creating model. But selecting the value 200 creates the model without error.

I do not understand why, and if that value is chosen trial and error

It seems the 4th-7th segmentations are not well created causing segmentation intersection In the rc1. If you delete the 5th and 6th segmentations in the rc1, you should be able to create a model. Or recreate them without intersection. Generally, a rapid change in segmentation orientation should be avoided.
