Inconsistent values for joint reaction analysis

We describe here the methods we used to create a detailed musculoskeletal model with 84 degrees of freedom and 134 muscles. Our model has three key-features: three-dimensionality, scalability, and modularity. We tested the validity of the model by identifying forelimb muscle synergies of a beagle at walk.

Hi team,

Any idea on why the JRA tool seems inconsistent with the dog model?

Dear Maxence Lavaill,

This seems to be a bug. Set the Precision for Output to 8, then normal values should be calculated.

I would also activate "Solve for equilibrium for actuaytor states".

Thanks Heiko, it works!

It seems that the main issue was the unticked "Solve for equilibrium for actuator states" as it now works even with a precision of 12.

I had never ticked this before thinking that I didn't need for pure inverse dynamics problem, but it seems that it is still rather important.
