Application for older versions of devices

New project for OpenCap, which is a new software package to estimate 3D human movement dynamics from smartphone videos. OpenCap strongly relies on OpenSim.

I wonder if the OpenCap application may also be available for older versions of iPhones or IPods soon?

Hi Julia, for now we are supporting iOS devices released in 2018 and after. We will soon add utilities to use videos from other sources (item 3 here: https://github.com/stanfordnmbl/opencap-core). You might then be able to use older devices. I will update this thread when available.

Hello,

In case this might help anyone, I have successfully run a test using an Iphone 6s & SE (1st Gen) with iOS 15 (I was asked to update during the app installation).
It would be great if this remains like that, and an upgrade to iOS 16 is not required, since these two devices (as well as the Iphone 7) would not receive the update.
