Hello,
I am working on a model to estimate 3D knee angles. Thanks to the forum, I managed to add knee adduction; however, I am still trying to figure out how to estimate knee rotation.
I modified the model and successfully added knee adduction. However, when I attempted to do the same for knee rotation, it didn't work.
What can I do?
Thank you

Re: Knee rotation
Hi Sandra,
You can just add another coordinate for knee rotation and relate it to the SpatialTransform along the y of the femur (with a linear transform function). That said, I am not confident that OpenCap can estimate a knee rotation motion accurately since the angles are so small and the markers are so close to the axis of the femur and tibia.
If that doesn't work, please attach a screenshot of your knee joint definition in the model xml.
Best,
Scott
