Processing for a long time

New project for OpenCap, which is a new software package to estimate 3D human movement dynamics from smartphone videos. OpenCap strongly relies on OpenSim.

Processing for a long time

Post by Arafat Rahman » Tue Nov 14, 2023 9:09 pm

Hi,
I was trying to record and analyze some motions for first time. The indicators are yellow beside the new trial for a long time. Does that mean it is still processing? I can not see the dasboard kinematics. Is it usual to take such a long time?

Hi,

Processing time depends on how many people are using OpenCap and how long the queue is. It might take a while if it is very busy (it often is these days).

yes that means it is still processing.

best,
Antoine

So is there a time limit in the processing time? I even could not pass the neutral pose part.

Neutral trials are prioritized. The longest you should wait is the time to finish ongoing processing + time to process neutral trials already in the queue. If it takes more than a few minutes, then there might be another issue.
