Hello, I would like to know how you synchronize the motion sequence data of Opencap and Vicon? I saw a sentence mentioned in the literature, but I didn't quite understand it. I want to know which method is better compared to cross-correlation analysis. [we synchronized and aligned Mocap and OpenCap position data by removing the time delay that minimized the mean difference between marker positions (averaged over all markers and time steps), then subtracting this average position offset from the OpenCap positions.]

We tested different methods (time delay that maximizes cross-correlations of marker velocities and time delay that minimizes Euclidian distances) to compute the time delay between the two systems, and we selected the method that gave us the lowest error in marker position between the two systems.
