Calibration, Musculoskeletal model scaling failed

Post by Semia Beji » Tue Jul 16, 2024 10:50 am

Hi,

I am having some issues with the calibration step. I have tried all the Best Practice techniques, however each time it gives me the same message "Musculoskeletal model scaling failed; the segment sizes are not anthropometrically realistic."

I have tried different lightings, always ensured that the distance is less than 5m away, wifi.

Thank you!

Hi Semia,

When that error occurs, it's usually because something went wrong with the camera calibration or the person was moving during the neutral pose recording. If you have followed on the best practices for calibration, make sure the person is standing still when you click record for the neutral pose.

Hope this helps,

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your response. With each attempt I made sure that the person was not moving (for the whole processing time- up until the error message), therefore I don't think this is the issue. I have also tried switching phones (iPhone X to iPhone 12).

Best,
Semia

Hi Semia,

The subject height should be in m, not in cm. Your subject's height is 168.
We will make sure it is not possible to do that on our end moving forward.

Best,
Antoine

Hi Agus,

To clarify, is the camera blurry constantly? Have you tried reconnecting the phone when it happens?
