Hello,
We aim to measure the maximum peak torque during flexion and extension in the knee and hip joints using an isokinetic dynamometer. Additionally, we intend to use two cameras for recording. However, we are experiencing difficulties in capturing the upright stance because the system does not recognize the human body. The isokinetic dynamometer is positioned between the participant and the camera. We have verified that the participant is fully visible from the cameras, and the calibration process was successful.
Our questions are as follows:
1. Does Opencap require an open space to accurately record the upright stance?
2. Could the presence of the isokinetic dynamometer be causing the issue with recording the upright stance?
What do you recommend in this situation?

Hi Anthi,
The dynomometer might cause some issues depending on several factors.
I'm wondering if you do a calibration pose of the participant standing on the ground (not attached to the dyno) first, and then put the person in the dyno if it will work better. I would give that a try first.
