Dimensions

Post by Laule Kamm » Thu Aug 15, 2024 1:31 pm

Hi There,
I am conducting research on ergonomic poses on bikes. Is or will it be possible to visualize the angles of joints and dimensions like bone length in the analysis or kinematic dashboard? If it is possible to get accurate bone length from the data collected I'd love to learn about how I can extract the Data for further investigation. (I found variations in knee angles between the left and the right leg, which in my conclusion is only possible if the bone lengths are not symmetric. (assuming the setup is accurate enough) This might be very interesting for AI powered bike fitting applications.
Best Regards from Germany

Hi Laule,

Unfortunately, there is no explict bone length parameter in the model. You can look at the distance between joint centers to get a sense of the segment lengths.

Hope this helps,
