I'm using an iphone (iOS 18.1.1) as one of my recording devices, when I go to calibrate, my phone starts vibrating slightly making it impossible to pick up the checkerboard. Is this a known issue or something that can be fixed on my side?
I'm also interested in looking at using the upper extremity muscular model after capturing movement data with opencap although through the webapp it looks like only lower body muscle models are available - is there a way to alter this? Thank you

Re: App causes phone to vibrate during calibration + available musculoskeletal models
Hi Isabelle,
Do you know which iPhone model it is?
The model from the web app is torque drive for the upper body. If you are interested in adding muscles, you would have to do it through OpenSim. If you download the data, you will get the marker (.trc), kinematics (.mot) and model (.osim) files. You can either add muscles to the .osim file (and remove the torque actuators), or use a different model that already has the muscles, and use the .trc file to recompute IK.
Note, depending on your research question, the torque actuators may suffice on their own.
Hope this helps,
Matt

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the reply - it's an iPhone 11. Brilliant thanks for that, I'll definitely look into it!
Thanks,
Isabelle

Hi Isabelle,
We've had some issues with the iPhone 11s. If you try another iPhone it may work.
Hope this helps,
Matt
