no scaled musculoskeletal model OpenCap

Post by Francesca Zangaro » Fri Dec 06, 2024 7:00 am

Good evening.

I'm looking for the musculoskeletal model used by OpenCap, 2022 Lai and Uhlrich model.
Can someone send me the link to which I can download it?

Thanks a lot,
Francesca

Hi Francesca,

If you have collected OpenCap data, it should be in the downloaded folder under OpenSimData -> Model (.osim file).

Hope this helps,
Matt

Good morning Matt.

Yes, I have the file "LaiUhlrich2022_scaled.osim" in the downloaded model folder but I need the 2022 generic model by Lai and Uhlrich, so it can't be scaled.
I tried to find it on internet, also in the section on OpenSim website "Muskuloskeletal model", but without success.

So I wonder where I can find it to continue my project.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
Francesca

Hi Francesca,

It is currently only available through OpenCap.

Just curious, what do you need the unscaled model for in your analysis?

Matt
