.osim model error: the giant leg model

Hello, I am jeuhee.

I have a problem with the opencap model.

First, after taking a neutral pose, the human model did not appear.

When I used it before, the model appeared right after taking a neutral pose.

In addition, when I extracted the data and checked it in opensim, the model's lower limb was huge.

Why does this problem occur? And how can I solve this problem?

Hi Jeuhee,

It looks like you do have a model, but it is very small and you have to zoom out.

This can happen for several reasons, but you may want to consider:

1. Bad calibration. Calibrate with the checkerboard in the middle of the walkway or area of interest.
2. The participant is very small in your FOV so it makes it harder for the pose detection. You can move the cameras closer and/or change to portrait instead of landscape.
3. The participant may be moving during the neutral pose. Note the participant can be in any pose for neutral now. So the can be sitting in a chair if needed (as long as all limbs are visible in all cameras).
