Mass and inertial propreties

Post by Pierre Lamouri » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:13 am

Hi everybody,

I am using the Vasavada's neck model, and I would like to perform Inverse Dynamic. Nevertheless, there are in this model any mass and inertial propreties. Then I tried to take the full model to take theses informations, but some groups are already made. Ex : the segment "torso" is constituted by the scapula (r/l), the clacivle (r/l), and the ribcage.

If someone has datas of segments with mass, mass center and inertia, could he or she share it with me please ?

Thank you for your help,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

I have been working on Vasavada's Head and Neck model for a couple of months. You are right since scapula and clavicle are ready to be used as individual anatomical segments including welded joint (which could be easily changed in custom joint). I've just got the same problem you pointed out. Have you eventually managed to find out where to get inertial and COM properties of those segments?

Many thanks

Dario

Hi Pierre,

I am currently working on the neck model. Were you able to input the mass and inertial properties into the model? If yes, can you please share it on the forum.

Thank you
