EMG electrodes removal between experiments?

Provide a comprehensive data set with associated models that will enable researchers to validate musculoskeletal model estimates of muscle and joint contact forces in the knee.

EMG electrodes removal between experiments?

Post by Pierre Gillen » Mon Jan 07, 2013 1:53 pm

Dear all,

since we would like to compare EMG signals obtained during gait analysis with the ones gathered during dynamometer experiments, we are wondering whether the EMG electrodes stayed in the same location between gait, static and specific joint analysis (morning) and dynamometer experiments (afternoon)?

Best regards,

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

For all of the Grand Challenge Competition data, the electrodes were not removed during data collection. Therefore, the electrodes were in the same location for all data collected.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Allison
