Post by priti yadav » Fri Aug 22, 2014 7:59 am

Hello,
I'm using 6th competition data for my research and I need some more details about knee implant (used in 6th Competition), like product name, which company provided or material or mass of each component. So please provide me these details...

Thanks & Regards

Priti,

The implant was based on a Zimmer Natural Knee II design. The femoral component was stock. The tibial tray was modified to accommodate all the instrumented knee electronics. The tibial insert was 9 mm thick. You might have to use the geometric models to get mass properties. You might also have to assume some material properties (cobalt chrome alloy for the metal components and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene for the tibial insert).

Regards,
