Visual 3D and OpenSim exporting

Provide models that can estimate force and moment generating capacity of the lower limb and reveal relationships between muscle architecture and function.

Visual 3D and OpenSim exporting

Post by maria thommyppillai » Wed Apr 27, 2016 8:09 am

Hi there,

I'm very new to Opensim and I am currently starting an MSc project that will involve me looking at the lower limb model 2010. Currently kinematic data is collected by Qualysis Track Manager (QTM) and then processed and analysed within Visual 3D (V3D), but our service would liek to see if we can implement muscle length modelling to aid clinical decisions. There is a way to export marker data from V3D into Opensim to be used with the 2392 and 2354 models, however I was wondering if the same method could be used to export data to be used by the lower limb model 2010?

Thank you for your help,
MAT
