osteoarthritic cases

Post by Miriam Chaudhary » Thu Dec 08, 2016 2:10 pm

Hello,

Wiki pages for specimens oks001 and oks002 state that the specimens are "possibly osteoarthritic." How was that determined?

Hi Miriam,

oks001 and oks002 are from elderly donors and some cartilage degeneration is expected. We have not done any MRI based grading on the specimens yet. Hence the note "possibly osteoarthritic". The MRIs are available for download in the Downloads section. For an exact evaluation, you may want to get them and have them graded clinically.

Best,

Ahmet
