Hint for those who have problems installing the isualization tool in win7:

Does not work until bin/opensim.exe is set to be run as adminstrator :geek:

Cheers

Hi,

I am on Windows 7 64 bit, and I did not managed to launch it. I can read in the instruction :

" 6) Start OpenSim. Nothing should changed, then exit OpenSim. A NetBeans window should appear very briefly, loading the module. OpenSim will restart automatically with the module installed and ready (a new item ‘Visualization’ in the menu bar should be visible). "

Nothing happens when I exit Opensim. I restart it normally without any notification.

Any hints ?

Thanks

Pierre.

Hi Pierre,

What version of OpenSim do you use? I have stopped working on this module after v2.0.2, so I'm not sure about the compatibility with the potential new version of NetBeans that OpenSim uses now. Could you try with an older version of OpenSim? (Be sure to run it as administrator as well).

Best,
Nicolas.

Hi Nicolas,

I am working with Opensim 3.0, I believe that's why nothing happens. Thank you for your reply!

Best Regards
Pierre.

I have the same problem. Wonderful project and plugin.
I would appreciate it if someone could update it to one compatible with OpenSim3.0 8-)
