Introductions

Hi there.
My name is Edith and I'm an experienced OpenSim user.
How can I help you?
I've been creating models and simulations in OpenSim for a few years now. Along the way I've done some things the hard way, developed some shortcuts, and learned a lot about how to create a "good" simulation.
I started this project so that we can share what we've learned, discuss our work, and collaborate. Anyone who asks for read/write permissions can have them, all I ask is that you only add stuff, don't delete others' contributions
Here are my personal goals for this project:
- document the things I've done/learned that won't show up in the journal papers so that others can benefit.
- add at least one post, tool, or discussion per week.
- incorporate your feedback and respond to topic requests.
- determine if this is the right place for this project, make feature requests to the simtk.org team if it isn't or figure out where the right place is.
Here are some topics I plan to cover. Please let me know if you have other suggestions.
* Markers: your shortcut secret weapon
* What does a good CMC solution look like?
* Getting started with the API (a non-programmer's perspective)
* Helpful hints for frustrating error messages
* How to know when a model is right for your application
