I am wondering how model marker locations are calculated.

In particular, what method was used to calculate the locations for the hip joint center markers? (RHJC & LHJC)

I am curious for virtual marker creation purposes (e.g. if functional joint centers were not determined during experimental collection and you would like to create a virtual marker based off of other pelvis markers). So, it may be beneficial to use the same methods as the model, if the hip joint center marker locations were calculated as a function of other marker positions.

Is there documentation for the marker location determinations? (Or is there somewhere this was discussed for various models?)
