Post by Mohammadreza Rezaie » Mon Jan 27, 2020 3:55 pm

Dear Experts,

I need a little help in installing and loading these plugins in MAP Client.

https://github.com/mapclient-plugins/segmentationstep
https://github.com/mapclient-plugins/mo ... viewerstep

Would you please show me how to install these plugins and their dependencies?

I would be grateful for your help
Cheers

Hi Mohammad,

In general to "install" a plugin, you just need to download the containing file and move it into the folder where you store you MAPClient plugins. This can be anywhere on your computer and can be defined by opening MAP, going to Tools, and Plugin Manager. Here you can add a directory using the "Add directory" button. You then need to select "Reload", then open and close MAP. If you have the dependencies install they will then appear in your plugin list on the RHS.

If for they do no appear you can switch back to the Anaconda Prompt where a list of errors will be displayed. You should find the section related to the specific plugin you are trying to use. Here you will find a list of errors, likely stating the missing modules.

Let me know if this isn't clear

Bryce
