subject-specific CT-based model

Post by Maryam Ashkbous » Thu Sep 26, 2013 1:23 am

Hello
I wanted to know if I can use opensim to create a "subject-specific CT-based model" of lower limb. after that I want to cut a bone (for example cut the femur in transverse plane) and rotate the parts, then join them again (in order to change the bone rotation angle)?

regards

Maryam,
Yes, It is possible. Presently, we dont have inbuilt capabilities for this functionality. However a number of external researchers have begun developing their own methodology to do this in OpenSIm.
cheers,
